The new update of Explain Everything – version 2.50 has been just approved by Apple and is now available in the App Store. In this update we improved the inspector tool, added new inspector options and allowed copying and pasting from outside of Explain Everything. The interface is more polished and more pleasant to use. We also added following new features:
Multi-selection via Inspector: now inspector tool has a separate window that can be dragged around the stage. We included two new functions: Group and Ungroup that will help you bind objects together regardless if they overlap each other or not. Now you can use both the triple-tap gesture and inspector to group objects. You can also paste image or video objects copied within other apps.
Export slides without recording: Explain Everything has a new option in preferences that adds 5, 10, or 15 seconds of empty recording time while exporting so that slides that don’t have a recording will be present in your video. You can also disable it by setting the time to 0 seconds.
Fade in/out inserted objects: inserting and deleting objects from the stage will now display a fade in/fade out animation on them. You can choose to display the animation only while playing or recording, or disable it completely in the preferences menu under the general tab.
New “Open in…” integrations: now you can open videos and pictures in Explain Everything through “Open in…” option in iOS. Additionally if you import a document file (PDF, doc etc.) this way you will be asked wether Explain Everything should create a new project from the document or add it to an existing one.
Polished graphics: we improved the Explain Everything interface and changed some tool icons.
