We do not collect any Personal Information when you use the Apps. A user registering an account for the Portal will be asked to provide a valid email address and configure a password.
However, other likely situations when you make personal data available to the Company include, but are not limited to: (i) requesting technical support via email or Website, and (ii) subscribing to newsletters via the Website.
The Company may require your personal data to send messages to you in response to support requests. The Company may also provide information about its services including new features and services, special offers and updated information, but a user may choose to opt out of such communications.
The Company does not engage in any behavioral targeting of advertisements to any users and does not build any profiles for users unless authorized by a user/parent.
The Company does not collect, maintain, use, or share student personal information beyond that needed for authorized educational/school purposes, or as authorized by the parent/student. We do not knowingly contact or collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly obtain parental consent or remove the information from our systems. The Company will support access to and correction of any Personal Data by a user.
The Company will not knowingly retain any Personal Information beyond the time period required to support the authorized purposes or as authorized by the user.
What non-personal information the Company collect?
Users of the Apps can opt out of sending non-personal information to the Company. We collect “non-personal data” for the purposes of improving the quality of the user experiences.
Explain Everything will not sell or disclose Personal Data and non-personal information to 3rd parties who are interested in obtaining such data for their own purposes.
The Company uses the API integration for several third party services including Dropbox, Box, Evernote, and Google Drive. All user login information is collected and stored only by these cloud services. The, Company, App and Portal do not store or access any login credentials for those services. Please refer to those companies’ privacy policies if you have concerns or questions.
Information collected when accessing links
Whenever you interact with the Website by following the “Video tutorials” link from within the app, the Company automatically receives and records information on server logs from a user including browser type, cookie information, and the requested page. Generally, the Company automatically collects non-personal data including usage information, such as the numbers and frequency of visitors to our site and its components. We only use this data in aggregate form, as a statistical measure, and not in a manner that would identify user individually.
Information obtained via email communication
If you request feedback, information, or support via email or from within the app to, the Company will use your e-mail address to send you a response and answer your query. As part of using the Portal, you may occasionally receive an email and other communications from us though you may opt out of such communication.
